Every time you show your table all set for guests, I wish I could plop myself down and stay for a long time! This setting is so cozy! Others have been elegant or summery and pretty. You are a lovely hostess and I'm sure your Thanksgiving will be a bounty of goodness - from food to the people who share it with you!
Hi Jo! I like your warm and inviting pix here. After Halloween, the colors of decorating often goes straight to red and green, skipping right over the lovely, muted, grayed-down colors of Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Bringing three special dishes to my brother's table. HOPE YOU ARE WARM THIS WEEKEND! :) m & jb
Those are the cutest cookies! I made a big batch of sugar cookie dough earlier this afternoon...it's chilling. Figured I would get a head start this year on my baking. Have a wonderful weekend, JoAnn.
Did that turkey eat all those cookies? He looks a bit plump. I am still enjoying my scarecrow in the flowerpot outside my door and my fall table runner. The stores are all gussied up for Christmas but I love to take my time and enjoy the autumn.
Some of those pumpkin cookies look drunk. Are those rum-soaked raisins?
ReplyDeleteI know I'm entirely too old for this, but I'd love to adopt you as an honorary grandmother!
