Driving past a house the other day we saw all these rock sculptures
It must have taken hours of patient work to get all the random sized stones balanced
We saw piles of stones in the back yard - so there may be more sculptures coming
And for more fun - flowers on our deck, taken yesterday. This has been a glorious summer for flowers.
Finding rock sculptures in unexpected places is exciting. But on one beach, I saw a sign that asked people not to do it. Guess they like their rocks as nature sculpted them. - Margy
ReplyDeleteWe had an earthquake today that would have messed up those pieces of art. My geraniums are the most loyal of all my potted plants, tossing out blossoms year-after-year and sticking our the winter months too.
ReplyDeleteThe rocks sculptures are cool and your flowers are beautiful. Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteNow that's a fun and unusual sight!
ReplyDeleteI guess just because I have fairies on my mind lately (thanks for the sweet comment on my post, JoAnn!) these remind me of an entrance to an enchanted forest for wee folk! Very charming!
ReplyDeleteAm I a bad person for thinking "glue gun"?
ReplyDeleteWell, that's one way to use up all the stones in the yard. Kinda neat!
ReplyDeleteSomeone must have endless patience (and good muscles!)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Debra may be right. Around here, one good blast of wind and the whole thing would be rubble.
ReplyDeleteYour summer flowers are beautiful!
JoAnn, I have been seeing some piled rocks around in yards recently, although not as elaborate as your sightings. Why, I wonder, do they mean something? Your flowers are just beautiful. I have one straggly morning glory and that's about it..Happy Wednesday..Judy
