I love blueberries, YUMMY! I made blueberry pancakes for me and the hubby Sunday morning.. I love the pretty flowers. A gorgeous post and images.. Have a happy new week!
I went picking blueberries this morning but don't think any of them were the size of a quarter - you do grow them big! I like all the pretty spring and summer blooms you've shared. Thanks for linking to MM.
I like picking wild blueberries. Not so big but ever so yummy. My bush stayed behind when we moved house and I noticed when I walked past a few weeks ago that it was pie time.
That is a huge berry. I love blueberries, but Wayne is more partial to blackberries and raspberries. We got a quart of fresh picked raspberries in Newfoundland and enjoyed them for for or five breakfasts with our cereal. - Margy
JoAnn I am bowled over by the size and abundance of those berries...i adore blueberries and I need to plant more native highbush shrubs for myself. Beautiful flowers too!! And the mosaics are fabulous!
Those are huge blueberries...wouldn't take many to make a pie! Most of my flowers have blossomed themselves out...your are so pretty. I love zinnias, but always forget to plant them. Have a great week, JoAnn.
Hi JoAnn. Beautiful pictures. Those are some blueberries. I think the blueberry bush is very pretty. My flowers do not look anything like yours now..Happy Tuesday..Judy
I think a half dozen of those giant blueberries would just about qualify for a full serving. They make me want to start baking some muffins.... Yum! I didn't grow any zinnias this year and now I sure am wishing I had. Beautiful pictures of the berry bushes and the flowers.

ReplyDeleteThat blueberry is sitting on a quarter? That must be some kind of genetically altered mutant blueberry!

ReplyDeleteBlueberries are not a common fruit here in the UK JoAnn, but they are available in small punnets.
ReplyDeleteOh I do love blueberries. It was a good year for them here, too. That's one giant berry!
