Two houses
One long past its usefulness - but the yards are mowed, flowers are planted - it is loved even in its old age and time of uselessness
No one can live here anymore - the years and weather have taken their toll - once a hippie family lived here - dipped their water from the creek in front of the house, sang to their babies under the trees, picked the lilacs and filled jars with them to bring the wonderful scent indoors, tilled the gardens, picked the apples and sang sweet songs.
Now the house sits silent - remembering the times past
It's roof no longer protects anyone
And a well kept house - making memories
And a horse
For a moment there that house reminded me of my grandparents one...they lived in it all of their lives until I was about three years old. Something about the roofline / style of it :)

Oh the photos are beautiful, remembering times past and seeing the peaceful meadows of this farm. A shame no one has restored this beautiful place.
