I wish our spring flowers were as far on as this! Daffodils are in bud and one or two of the very early tulips are just coming out but as very cold weather is forecast for the weekend, I don't expect to see any more for a while.

Yes, I did daffodils for the party today too! They seem to be the only splash of bright color during these continuous days of freezing (literally), wet and dreary days. Loved Hal Borland's quote - guess we'll hang on to those words a little while longer.
