When we first moved to Washington twelve years ago we rented a lovely old farm house. The yard was surrounded by lovely fences
Just waiting to be decorated - with my collections
Fences and memories - some of the best things in life.
What are your favorite memories?
Marvellous decoration of fences JoAnn - I have never seen anything like this.
ReplyDeleteHave been with an old friend all afternoon and we have been mulling over old memories - had a lovely time.
I don't know what triggered it just now, but one of my favorite memories is of a road trip I took many, many years ago where I drove my old '68 VW bug across Alberta, surrounded by miles and miles of wheat fields blowing golden in the wind. Though I also saw some spectacular scenery on that trip, it's those fields and the feeling of serenity that's remained most vivid.
ReplyDeleteHow clever of you. Never would have thought of decorating the fences with so many vintage things.
ReplyDeleteLovely fences, JoAnn! I so wish I had that creative, decorate gene! So many memories ~ can't possibly pick one ~ all the various types of love I've been blessed with. Monument Valley ~ very spiritual. Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the fence decorations! The geese are great and those old pans on the fence are so charming. What a cute idea! xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. And I'm glad you have the photos to help remember. Hanging art on fences is one of the things I love about Old Louisville gardens. Such a great way of expressing yourself.
ReplyDeleteI love the artwork on the fences....so unique! some folks are just too creative..(I'm envious)
