What a perfect time for a party - and a note card party at that. Summer is so full of flowers here in Washington - and everywhere - so I decided to pick some of my favorite flowers photos to make into cards - it is a hard choice - to pick favorites. My oldest daughter and I decided that our favorite flower is the one we are currently looking at.
Wild Sweet Peas - they grown in waves all along the roads here
Fireweed - the background came out black straight from the camera - I love the effect
Hollyhocks - they make me smile
Shasta Daisies
Thanks Vee
They are all just wonderful and would make gorgeous cards. I love the passages you put with it one. The second one down is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThese are all so beautiful. Because I love hollyhocks and Edna St Vincent Millay, that's my favorite...until I look at the daisies!
ReplyDeleteI love the beautiful quotes! The last one is my favorite photo and quote. Oh, if life could be that joyful all the time! I love summer time! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful note cards for sure! I think the Hollyhocks are my favorite!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty summer flowers. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteNot only beautiful summer flowers but some wonderful quotes on your note cards.
ReplyDeleteJoAnn, these are gorgeous flower photos! I love how the background came out black. The hollyhocks are so pretty. Great quotes and great cards!
ReplyDeleteI am so in love with all your photos. Great choices for note cards.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your note cards, they look awesome!
ReplyDeleteWell done.
Oh fabulous! I love this idea of a note card party. Your beautiful blooms make great cards!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Terri
Hollyhocks! I've missed them in my garden, so I am happy to see them on your cards!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty cards!

Those are very pretty cards, JoAnn and I just love the quotes, too! Love the backlit fireweed. xo
ReplyDeleteVery pretty photos for note cards! Love the quotes you've chosen to go with them.
ReplyDeleteI love hollyhocks and planted some this year. They're growing, but slowly. I hope I'll see blooms yet this season!
Great idea, pretty flowers.
ReplyDeleteOur roadside flower that is common at the moment JoAnn is the blue geranium - it is everywhere. I find that in the spring all the predominant flowers are yellow but now they all seem to be in blues and purples.
ReplyDeleteI love the hollyhocks - they don't do well here in my garden because we have such strong winds.
Beautiful and beautiful! Love those daisies -- and the idea of the world laughing in flowers. I've heard that before, but it's a great quote!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower photos! They are perfect for note cards!
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures and the verses....perfect
ReplyDeleteJanice
Wonderful sentiment choices for your great photos.
ReplyDeleteThese are all so beautiful, would make wonderful note cards...I think I like the Daisies the best, they are just cheerful flowers
ReplyDeletePretty, pretty flowers. I love the deep pink of the wild sweet peas.
ReplyDeleteI love your pretty cards and I am smiling.
ReplyDeleteI would SO buy your Note Cards! And the black background behind the Fireweed is perfect!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
They're all so beautiful. I love the sweet peas. :) They're abundant on the roadsides down here too! Great postcards and photos to make them!
ReplyDeleteOooh, such pretty flowers! (I wish the wild sweet peas smelled as heavenly as the garden variety!) We have wild Shasta daisies growing everywhere here - fields of them! Are they as abundant in your neck of the woods?
ReplyDeleteOh, these are lovely and are perfect for note cards!
ReplyDeleteSweet peas were one of my mom's favorites. She had them climbing a trellis outside our kitchen window when I was growing up. The hollyhocks were another favorite - she would make "dolls" out of them for me. :-)
Thanks for your visit and comment on my sign/rural entry.
