Tuesday Muse

One photo on Tuesday - it had to be this one.  A Heron standing on a piling in Bellingham Bay.  He was there for over an hour - I kept coming back and taking more photos. It was hard to narrow down my choices, as I took well over 400 pictures of him - but he just kept posing so nicely.

Ok - maybe two - you knew I couldn't stop at one.
He was such a pretty bird.

  5. They're such patient and stately birds, aren't they? I just read a piece of trivia about the GBH and will share it this weekend on my bird photo blog [link is on my right hand sidebar]. Great images.

  19. There is no such thing as an overdose of heron photos! I know that feeling-- when I have 20 shots that are essentially identical, why is it so hard to pick one, and worse, throw the rest away to save disc space?
