Ahhh Friday - even though I am retired, I look forward to Fridays.
And today - fences with faces
Deep in the woods of Silver Lake County Park - there are old fences, no longer needed
They seem sometimes to be held up by the moss and lichens
Here is one that is looking back at me
Hello fence - and thank you for your work, when you were needed, and thank you for your beauty.
I love the first one! It's like a magical gateway to somewhere - aka, the secret garden.
ReplyDeleteI'm imagining a white shaggy dog straddling that last one. :)
Great fences. Time is as always healing the wounds as here in the landscape. Wonderful.
ReplyDeletewow, they are beautiful covered in all that greenery...ha, i see the face too!

ReplyDeleteWhat amazing mosses and lichens. I wonder how old they are. It looks like the land where time stood still.
ReplyDeleteA step back in time....nature has made its claime! Nice captures
ReplyDeleteWoW! I don't think I've ever seen a fence so completely covered like that & you found 2! =)
ReplyDeleteI must say I have never seen a fence like this with growth. These are great

Very beautiful, covered with moss, funny how nature takes things back.
ReplyDeleteThat old fence is so pretty. I can almost hear the serenity in that picture, nothin' but the sounds of the birds.
