What a delightful name for this plant! I like bleeding heart plants myself.
How pretty! I used to have a huge one, but we had to move it when we enlarged the deck and it's never recovered. I miss it. My favorite shrub? Hard to pick one! But maybe forsythia, so early and bright and hopeful.
