A Nest and Some Waves

Our rides in February are interesting
We see things that are not visible in the summer
And the waves in Birch Bay are bigger than in the summer
It is usually a calm bay, sheltered by the San Juan Islands

Waves are a joy to watch

  1. Always nice to go on a little road trip! Although those are over for the duration.

  2. Waves are one of the calming things to watch these days. I'm not sure if we can go to any of our beaches these days.
Glad to see you're posting more again!

  4. Hello,

I would enjoy a car ride with views of the water and waves. The nest are more visible in the winter months. Great photos.

  5. I love the waves lapping! The herons are the best, though!

  6. February seems like a lifetime ago. I find that my sense of time is all screwed up right now. There is a medium sized nest in one of the cottonwood trees outside our window. For a while I thought the leaves were coming out quickly, but now all seems to be frozen in time time like we all are. - Margy

  7. JoAnn - I was delighted to see your comment on my blog - it has been so long, my friend! Aren't we blessed to have nature nearby that lets us escape from the house for a while? Lovely photos! Stay well, and enjoy your week ahead!
