Tablecloth Update

I'm starting round 44
It is now about 22 inches across
There are 16 pineapples in each round, when it is finished there will be 128 pineapples in each round - so I've got a ways to go.
It is lying flat - so guess that this time I finally got the gauge and crochet hook size correct.  A good project for rainy Autumn and winter evenings.

Oh my goodness your pretty tablecloth is growing beautifully. All those pineapples dancing around and around is truly a beautiful sight!

It's so wonderful to see you doing this - it's why I've never made one. I've been crocheting doilies (and other things) since I learned to crochet when I was 23 in 1963. I never thought I could persevere long enough to finish one. I did make a lovely pineapple afghan for my Mom some time back then. When she died I was selling at an antique co-op and placed it there for sale. Someone stole it! But anyway, I'm crocheting a doily just now, for a little bathroom stand beside the toilet, because I just bought a "Toilet Tattoo" and need to match the color. If you google it, it's the pale green with roses.

Good luck! You're doing a wonderful job of it. Aren't you glad you didn't give up - you'll be so glad when you finish it.

(I use a size 7 hook with size 10 thread.)

That's amazing. My mom was the whiz at crochet. I've done a few projects but nothing this amazing. - Margy

Very nice. I'm thinking of doing some sort of winter project too.

Wow, that is a lot of work so far and it is going to look so nice with all your seasonal settings. I can hardly wait...
And the good thing is ... the last round is the finish and it doesn't need quilting or binding ;-)
