How spectacular...especially when seen with Mt. Baker in the background! WOW! They are beautiful in their poses and with reflections! We have been seeing the Sandhill Cranes flying overhead by the hundreds these past couple of weeks...headed North! Enjoy your weekend! And thanks for the sweetest comment I've ever gotten. I think I'll go read it again! What a sweet friend you are. Hope you are well...you and hubby both! Hugs, Diane
Mt. Baker looks so beautiful in the sunshine, lovely photo JoAnn - always has been one of my favorite mountains to view, not forbidding at all.
Yes, those magnificent birds certainly make one want to get out the camera - they do pose so well!
Here in the southeast we have many birds that stay year round - right now I'm seeing a few back who seem to take off some place else for the coldest months, brown-headed cowbirds, starlings, towhees. The robins are also more prevalent but the brown thrashers and blue jays are not back yet. Our colorful cardinals, woodpeckers, bluebirds, and the small chickadees, wrens and finches stay all winter and give the garden flashes of color - right now they're all sitting in my bare fig tree in the rain!

Swans are such graceful and exquisite creatures. Lovely photos, especially the one with the snow-capped mountain in the background.

Have a lovely weekend - Mary
Fabulous photographs.
All the best Jan
The swans and their reflections are so graceful. We usually get migrant swans too but I have not seen them this year.
Love the swan reflections!
