Apple blossom time
A bright blue sky and apple blossoms - heaven!
Some of the apple trees are not trimmed
And some are trimmed - making picking much easier
They remind me of ballet dancers.
Famous for apples - Washington has many treasured varieties of apples.
...JoAnn, I also live in apple country along the shore of Lake Ontario. Nature for me is the greatest
ReplyDeletetreasure of all. Thanks for your visit, please stop back again.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteMy uncle had a huge apple orchard with many varieties from early th late in the season and eating apples, to cider apples to applesauce apples ... the works. A great place to spend summer picking up wind-falls.
ReplyDeleteHello Joann,,,nice to see you again...I love taking photos of the spring flowers on our trees here...so delicate and pretty. I think it is wonderful that your Grandson marched in the March for Science. We are going to need wonderful young people like him in the future. The denial of science is a very disturbing thing, but I am somewhat hopeful that people are speaking up and I hope we keep on fighting.....Michelle
ReplyDeleteApple blossoms are so delicate and magical. Ours are just beginning to open here and I never tire of looking at them. I sometimes think the pruned trees look a little odd, but they do make picking easier. We have semi-dwarf varieties and it's important to keep them trimmed.
