A few weeks ago we had more snow than usual - and usual is NO snow, so it kept a lot of us homebound until it melted.
After it melted at our house - and in town (Bellingham) we drove a little north to have a look at some of the barns - and there was still snow in some areas. They got a lot more snow than we did, I'm sure it is all gone by now, but it was fun to try and get some snow in the photos.
One of my favorite barns - first time I've seen it with snow on the ground
Just a little snow left - bet there was plenty inside.
Lots of snow here.

And The Sisters from another view, just a tad of snow on the ground
More Snow and The Sisters
JoAnn, what a fabulous collection of barns, both pristine and well worn. The snow is the frosting on the cake. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again.
ReplyDeleteInteresting group of barns. Most have a quite similar roofline - typical of the PNW?
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, Joann...a lot of barns and I just love them....
ReplyDeleteThe barns are so pretty in the snow! We had a lot of snow earlier in the month - well, a lot for Victoria. Most of us just stayed home for a day or so, and then the rain returned and washed the snow away overnight. I love these west coast winters!
ReplyDeleteI never tire of seeing your gorgeous barns. It seems to me they look even prettier with the snow. You have had a tough Winter with all the dreadful weather, haven't you. Fortunately Spring will be arriving there soon.
ReplyDeleteThis collection of barns is absolutely fantastic!
ReplyDeleteSuch awesome barns!!! Love the shots with the mountains in the background.
ReplyDeleteI love barns. You captured some great ones.
ReplyDeleteWow great collection of barns.
ReplyDeleteIt's so great to see all that snow in the high country. We should have an easier summer water wise. - Margy
