Some shots of Mt. Baker just as the sun is going down - there are almost no shadows on the mountain as the sun is directly across and level with the mountain.
This old house if well preserved and at one time, perhaps when it was first built, had a view of Mt. Baker, before the trees grew so tall.

Beautiful! It's been so hot here this summer and your photos today make me wish that the cooler weather will get here just a little bit quicker!
What a treat to live so close to such a beautiful snow-capped mountain. You got some fantastic shots, JoAnn. Just looking at all that snow makes me feel a little cooler!
Have a wonderful weekend.
Beautiful shots of a beautiful place.
I still remember my summer, so long ago, on Vashon Island with the sun setting into the Pacific and Mt Ranier looking likr a giant strawberry sundae floating in the sky. In the winter we can get a "red Fuji" at dawn.
A beautiful mountain! And very close to Canada; you can see it from Abbotsford!
Wonderful photos, it must be lovely to live so near such a magnificent mountain.
We've had some beautiful views of Mt Baker this summer. On Thursday night it was like a ghost mountain at sunset.
You live in a beautiful part of the country! I keep thinking of the phrase...that's God's country! Love your photos! Enjoy your weekend sweet friend. Hugs, Diane
Such beautiful scenes, your photo's are lovely.
All the best Jan
Beautiful! I am usually not in favor of cutting down trees, but in this case - when it blocks the view of Mt. Baker? I'd soooo be out there with a chain saw!
Really pretty. The mountain almost looks painted.
Great backdrop for the house
