Sad to see them go. They remind me of an era when food was "really" food! - not just the conglomeration of chemicals injected into inhumanely raised animals we consume today.
The family stories these lovely barns, especially the older ones, could tell. Countryside/farmland wouldn't be anywhere near as picturesque without them!
JoAnn, your "going" barn is pretty much "gone." What a nice collection we have this week, number three is a great grouping. Thanks for sharing this week, I hope that you well have more in the future.
I like to see a spruced-up and solid barn and feel a little sad when I see one crumbling. It seems to tell a sad story of dreams lost, children moved away and land left fallow.

These barns are such an integral part of your country JoAnn, that it is always a delight to see more of them.

A very nice set of photos.
Love all your barn scenes. Sad when they fall.

Hello, It is sad to see these barns coming down. Wonderful collection, I like the red barn third from the bottom.
Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week ahead!
That first barn looks like it is melting into the field. - Margy
I am always sad to see the tired old girls collapse. She must have been a beauty.
Oh, that first photo is so sad!
Love the red barn!
Have a great week!
A nice series of barns. That first one is in bad shape!
What a nice selection of barns! That second one looks like it may need a little work but also looks like a great space.
