Barns

More barns from our jaunt to British Columbia, Canada
I thought this was a pretty little horse barn - but there were cows inside
A large old farm - not much in use anymore.
Cornfields in front of a working barn and unused silos.
 Nice brown barn
One of the very large farms - many modern buildings and a brand new silo next to the old ones - one without a top.
An old barn no longer used for its original purpose - at one time part of it was painted and part wasn't - I wonder why.

Did you enjoy your vacation up to my country? Really, there isn't much difference in the looks of the land and buildings. But I do think there is a difference in how people think and act. - Margy

I thought of your barn series as I was driving through the Fraser Valley last week. Perhaps that half-painted barn was a work-in-progress.....part way through the paint job!

There are always such wide open spaces around the barns you photograph. That really emphasizes the vast beauty of our country - and Canada as well!

"A large old farm - not much in use anymore" is my favorite this week. JoAnn, this is such a great collection, thanks for making The Barn Collective part of your week. I hope to see you soon.

Neat barns. I know progress is progress but it seems so sad to just let the old barns fall into disrepair.

There's such a nice variety of styles there. Maybe he ran out of paint or decided it was too hard a job! lol Enjoy your day sweet friend. Hugs, Diane

What nifty barns you found and photographed. That red and white barn group makes me think of candy canes. They make me smile.
