The apple barn of a large orchard. They seem to have converted the barn into a living space when they moved the store to a different location on a very busy road - which brings them more customers. The original farmhouse is still at this location and in good condition - and of course Mt. Baker makes it even better.
Another barn in front of Mt. Baker is always a good choice.
We've been past this barn many, many times and there has always been a big truck or two parked in front - finally it was clear of extra vehicles and I got my photo.
Nearly gone - this old barn has seen many days.

What a contrast from the really well cared for to the almost derelict. Great photos as always.
JoAnn, we always find such a great assortment of barn with beautiful backdrops. Your last one is my favorite and the silo will remain long after the barn collapses.
Thanks for stopping by The Barn Collective. Have a great week and I hope to see you again.
Oh wow, Mt Baker is the perfect backdrop, isn't it. I always enjoy your photos of barns, JoAnn. There is nothing quite like an American barn.
Hello, JoAnn, wonderful barn shots. I always love the view of the mountains too. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and the new week ahead!
Mt Baker makes a beautiful background for your photos, but the last photo is my favorite
You have quite an enjoyable blog. I look forward to reading more. ~ Sharon
That apple barn would make a nice, big home, I would think!
Wouldn't that be a beautiful canvas to wake up to each day...snow-capped Mt. Baker!
I can't imagine the feeling of protection and majesty that Mt. Baker would bring to someone living its shadow. Just beautiful!
A nice collection of farms. Mt. Baker is a great backdrop for sure.
Neat picture. Maybe they;ve gone 'techie'---Apple App ;)
The mountain is spellbinding.
I've never seen a home grow out of a barn like this. I suppose if the bones are still good it makes sense to maximize the building. What a great view. I hope there are windows on the other side.
As usual I am running late with my comments. Having Mount Baker i the background of your photos makes them absolutely beautiful. What a gorgeous vista especially with a barn in the front. That wonderful old one...it is such a shame that it is going to fall down before too much longer. It is verdant interesting. The first shot is interesting, too. IS the house a separate structure or is it built atop an older barn. Great shots. Have a nice weekend genie
Looks like you have been having some nice weather. This has been a weird summer for us. Lots more rain than the last two summers, and not too many sunny days in between. I'm even starting to loose the suntan on my legs and arms. - Margy
