What a vision splendid it is in your beautiful corner of the world. Alas, way down here the only colour is grey skies and rain, rain and then some. Not to worry your beautiful flowers have cheered my day.
You are right---everything is blooming blooming blooming and I am lovin' it. Funny though our Rhodys are done and our Lilies are just cracking color but poppies and such are a riot of color. Your first pic looks like the poppies have cute little ears. MB
The salmon color on that poppy is breathtaking! I was tempted once to buy a few poppy plants in blue from a gardening catalog. It wouldn't have grown well in my gravel soil and shaded yard. But I love the splendor of them! My grandma - who could grow anything - had brilliant red ones. I'll never forget those!
The rhodies around here are almost done now and the poppies are doing well. The golden poppies seem like they're everywhere, the Asiatic kind are showing up more. These that you show are a beautiful color.
It does, and it's one of my most favorite times of the year! Your captures are lovely.
