Some lovely vintage treasures
Roses on a dessert set of berry bowls, with a big serving bowl. with just a little touch of gold.
I have a lot of pretty, old silverware, I found the spoon holder in California, long ago, The dragonfly and butterfly are from my daughter-in-law, Jamie, she's as sweet as the berry bowls, sweeter even!!
The delicate scalloped edges make
these bowls even prettier
Flowers, spoons, pretty dishes
Vintage napkins and a pretty tablecloth from Ebay

ReplyDeleteI love the pretty flowers and delicate scallops! And yes...I would love a bowl of berries with breakfast this morning! Enjoy your day sweet friend. I'll have a little wee ones post for tomorrow...Cricket again! lol Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteYes, I would definitely like a bowl of berries! You have some lovely treasures...all of it is things I like.
ReplyDeleteYour berry bowl set is so pretty. Nothing beats pink roses on china. :) Enjoy the week.
ReplyDeleteYears ago, I purchased a small, footed, pretty bowl at a charity auction. It was called a "berry bowl" but I couldn't imagine actually using it. It was covered in delicate pink flowers - much like yours. I couldn't relate because it seemed such a part of the long past time of gentility. I think you've inspired me to use it at Mother's Day brunch - filled, of course! - with dainty little berries!
ReplyDeleteLove the spoon holder. I will also be on the lookout for one. The dishes would make for a beautiful setting for dessert. I had to get rid of a couple of sets, just running out of room.
ReplyDeleteI do love roses on china and your berry bowls are very sweet with the little scallops. Very old-fashioned looking which makes them totally charming. I love the lace napkins too as well as your silverware. The spoon holder is a wonderful find. The dragonfly and butterfly are just too cute and how nice they came from your DIL! Everything is just lovely and the lace underneath it all makes a beautiful background for your treasures. Thank you for sharing with us and have a wonderful day, JoAnn.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
Lovely treasures and it would be nice to enjoy some Washington state bounty in them.
ReplyDeleteDear JoAnn:
ReplyDeleteYour little berry bowl set is quite lovely. Your photos really turned out pretty as well. I think you found something wonderful! Thanks for sharing and linking.
Love the spoon holder!
ReplyDeleteI do love berries of all kinds! Are the strawberries ripening already in your area? We still have a long ways to go. But there are blooms! Rose patterned dishes are so pretty and probably my favorites. I like the small size of the berry bowls - most dishes nowadays are so huge that it's no wonder we're all getting bigger and bigger. Have a great day, JoAnn.
ReplyDeleteYes, I would love a bowl of strawberries fresh from the fields of Washington. =) Gorgeous bowls. Such pretty flowers and the scalloped edges are indeed pretty. Love the tablecloth and the vintage silverware is lovely.
ReplyDeleteFresh sweet strawberries served in your lovely berry bowls along with a bit of cream and sugar to dip the berries in would be delightful for a mid-afternoon snack on a beautiful spring day. I love the look of the aqua beneath the lace tablecloth. Hugs.... Candy
ReplyDeleteOh they are pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love the pink flowers and also the way you've presented them is perfect!
All the best Jan

I love silver. My parents used to make silver jewelry and I have so many lovely pieces. I just don't dress up any more to have a place to wear them. - Margy
