Winter Scavenger Hunt - such fun!!! Let's see what we found.
1. A robin redbreast
In the snow - they over-winter here - some stay all year and nest in the spring and again in the summer. They are the first bird to sing every morning and the last every evening.
Taking a bath in the canvas cover on our grandsons' swingset in our yard.
5. A snowman
This is not this winter - but several years ago - but I just love how the snow is on the snowman.
No snow this year - I think if there had been some, the light might have melted it.
9. A tree that has lost all its leaves
Again - a few years ago - but one of my favorite photos - the swing in the tree was made by our son - the snow in it looks nice and cushiony.
One of my all time favorite trees - it stands in the middle of hay fields. I take photos of it in all seasons.
From a little different angle - you can see Mt. Baker through the branches.
10. A windy day
Wind ruffles the feathers of the Trumpeter Swans
11. Your favorite pudding
13. Street art
Someone spent a lot of time making this display in their yard. It is in the country, so I suppose it should be called "road" art.
I'm not sure why there is a peacock in there
That's one big peanut.

Lot's to see! I love your favorite tree. It's a real beauty and it has quite a view around it. The frosty star on the metal table is pretty wonderful, too. Great shots!
A lovely set of photos. I like your take on the button. The street/road art is good too.
Lovely pics JoAnn - that holly crockery is to die for.
Incidentally you mention the giant spray muck spreaders - we have them here too - a great yellow snake across the fields. Sadly our fields are just too small and are surrounded by dry stone walls on the whole, so the farmer has to do it the old-fashioned way.
My fave is the frosty star on the metal table!
What a beautiful collection of joyful things from everywhere! I just adore the serenity of the candle flame. It speaks of "Christmas eve" to me. And the fascinating "road art" you always find! What creativity out there in your part of the country!
JoAnn, as always you have outdone yourself with your photography. I love how we always see the subject of the picture but with all the important stuff around it. Those swans are gorgeous with or without the blowing breeze and I, also, have a favorite tree that I shoot in all seasons..Have a wonderful Easter..xxo Judy
What a fun post! Love seeing the snow on the snowman and Santa...and the ruffled feathers! Hope you are enjoying a nice day. We hiked this morning so you know what I'm doing now...resting! lol Hugs!
You found a lot during your hunt. On the way down the lake today we saw four swans take off and fly farther up the lake. Maybe they'll stick around for a while. We get lots of ducks and geese, but swans are rare here. - Margy
This was a great group of photos...I enjoyed them all.
Oh, so creative! I love all those pictures!
Sooo many sublime photos. The frosty cross on the metal table is incredible. The swan photo is unbelievable; all are in perfect sync. You were certainly in the right spot at the perfect moment, JoAnn!
