So many barns - so little time. I've taken a break from photographing barns until I catch up with all that I've already taken.
Patched up
Wearing down
Still useful for a little storage
Sad and dejected - but lived an honorable life
A full working farm - two barns - two silos
Mt. Baker watching over all
From the other side
Almost forgotten
Well cared for - can't wait to see the trees in the spring
All green
White and red
Looks like some teeth are missing
Blackberry bushes are taking over
Well kept - with horses nearby
Tidy, but tilting
Well worn
With a lovely home nearby.
JoAnn you made this a tough to choose a favorite this week. I scroll down and see one and say that's it and then scroll down more and then say that's it. Hard to choose for sure. Thanks for sharing this array of barns. I can't wait to see what comes next.
ReplyDeleteI love them all and there is a piece of me that wants to go inside and explore. I don't suppose that would be allowed.
ReplyDeleteWonderful barn photos!
ReplyDelete'Tidy but Tilting' is my favorite!
Have a blessed day!

You must live in a beautiful area to see photograph all these barns!
ReplyDeleteJo Ann...You have given us the mother load. what a grand collections of barns...a little bit of every type you could imagine with some silos thrown in for good measure. Starting with the first...I love how it has been patched. That definitely gives me an idea for our old outbuilding. I think the fourth one could still be used for more than storage. It seems to be in lots better condition than many I have seen. I love how you said the next one had lived an “honorable life.” What a lovely way to put it. But my favorite has to be the one with Mt. Baker in the background. It is stunning. What a fabulous to have your farm. The one with the windows all around it fascinates me. This is really unusual for me to see. And finally the green complex. It is so pretty. OK...I have rambled long enough. You can tell I really enjoyed your post. Have a lovely Sunday. genie
ReplyDeleteI'm like you----I have about 3 trillion barn pics but I seem to always find another.
ReplyDeleteYou have some super shots---some good some sad. Looks like in some you are in my backyard. LOL

ReplyDeleteGorgeous, gorgeous barns!
ReplyDeleteYou outdid yourself this week, JoAnn! I love those pale green barns. I really like the barns that the paint has worn off...guess it is a thing being old I can relate to.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week.
This is a wonderful collection of barns. You've really caught some great looking ones, as usual. That first one in particular is very interesting but I love them all.
ReplyDeleteThat first one looked like it was build with hand milled wood. That must have been a huge job. I like your new blog banner. - Margy
ReplyDeleteJoAnn, love all the barn pics especially the honorable one. Always love the ones that need a little TLC and wish I had one to take care of. Your header is gorgeous. Love the sweet little raccoon and the eagles are spectacular..Happy Sunday..Judy
