Some Cold Days - Snap

Recently we had some very cold days - ice and frost formed on just about everything.  What looks like snow is really very heavy frost.
For snaps in sets I've chosen the trees in a frozen  seasonal pond

Beautiful JoAnn. They remind of David Hockney's paintings of trees.

My dad was a great photographer all his life and used to do slide shows. One I really loved no matter how many times I saw it was "The faces and phases of water". I loved the beautiful frost on the windows and the trees and ice on the pond and icicles hanging from the eves. Your pictures bring some of those memories back.

I always think winter looks it's best from photos that I view from inside. Nice collection for Snap.

The cracked ice around the bases of the trees is amazing isn't it. Very beautiful photos! xx

Beautiful! I can see you haven't lost your touch while you have been away.

Brrrrr! It looks like it's been colder up your way than it has been here (though we did get a few chilly nights). I really like the light in these shots, and the yellow moss.
