I think I'm going to take some time off from blogging. I love all my friends here - and enjoy the interaction, but I need to recharge for a while - set new goals and get some things organized in my life.
Last year was a tough one - though not as tough as some had - but with both of us having long hospital stays and then the recuperations and company and finally the holidays - I'm about done in and need a break.
So I'll be around to read blogs from time to time - and hope you don't forget me while I'm on my blog-break.
I'll leave you with a current photo of Mt Baker - I know you want to see it this month. There is over 10 feet of snow now - and we are hoping for a lot more.
Happy blogging - see you soon I hope.
We will definitely miss you, but real life should always take precedence over blogging so, you go do what you have to do. We understand. And we will be waiting when you return :)
ReplyDeleteI will miss your company and your beautiful photos but you take your time and we will look forward to seeing you back when you are ready.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the break, relax and see you again soon. x
ReplyDeleteHave a good time on your recharge .... Be well and be happy!
ReplyDeleteHave a good break. I know the feeling that life gets tough sometimes!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time off! Rest, rejuvenate and recharge!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'll miss you too. Please send me a photo or two in an email when you see something you want to share. I hope you get lots of rest and come back soon. Forget you? NEVER!!!! Lots and lots of HUGS, Diane
ReplyDeleteI think sometimes just giving yourself "permission" to step back and relax is a first step to losing the stress! You put so much effort into your posts, I am not surprised you'd like to take some time off to refuel. I feel that way myself more often now, too. We'll miss you, of course, but will be right here to rejoin your beautiful journey when you are ready for us again!
ReplyDeleteBless you, JoAnn! Your fans are both loyal and numerous!
Oh, Jo, so understandable! My days won't be the same when I can't see your lovely pictures every day. Take care of yourself(ves) and we'll be in touch!
ReplyDeleteJoAnn, take good care of yourself and of your loved one(s). Refresh yourself and recharge your batteries and come back whenever you feel like.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Arlette
Enjoy your break from blogging JoAnn. You will be missed! Hugs. Pam
ReplyDeleteSounds like you need some time to recharge your batteries. That's important. I'll be here when you get back. - Margy
ReplyDeleteHi Joann! I understand that sometimes we have to take a break and just catch up with our life. You'll be missed and know we'll be here when you do. Oh, I'd love to see you Milk Glass. I have the same little chicks on their nests in Milk Glass and quite a few other colors of glass. Seems I collect those too! Take care, catch up and enjoy your break.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Enjoy your break, JoAnn, and return refreshed and organized. A little time away can be a good thing. Gorgeous Mt Baker!
ReplyDeleteOh, JoAnn, I'll miss you! But I know that breaks are necessary to keep fresh blogging, even without the challenges you faced in 2015. I hope that time to recharge will reinvigorate you and help you find the enthusiasm to come back soon! Take good care, my friend. Hugs, Kay.
ReplyDeleteI will miss you and your beautiful photography, JoAnn, but time for yourself is way more important. I hope you do some fun stuff and know that we will be happy to see you when you feel it's right to come back..Happy Wednesday..Judy
ReplyDeleteI understand the need for a break sometimes. Enjoy! I hope that you will return when you are all refreshed and raring to go again. xx
ReplyDeleteI wish you well on your break...seems like a lot of us need them every now and then. I will tell you one thing...I will miss your barns! I so enjoy the ones you show.
ReplyDeleteI will miss your beautiful pictures of the mountains, and the flowers, and the barns, and the boats (and the cows, and the horses, and the birds too).... and of course the dolls in their pretty little outfits.
ReplyDeleteRest up and come back to us when you are ready... Hugs, Candy
Yes please rest and recuperate. We will miss you but know you will be back.

Come back soon. If I'm not here...well I am just lost in decluttering. I am determined this year and so far so good. Take care and I love your Mt. Baker photo. I actually got snowed in even though just down the hill there was hardly any. It just seemed to dump on me. Ha! Take care!
ReplyDeleteThat's a stunning shot. I know about needing to take time off from blogging. I hope your health is better this year.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful and have a great time.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
How fortunate you are to have that view JoAnn. Have a good rest and know your blogging sisters will welcome you back when you decide the time is right.

You have been missed at The Barn Collective, hope to see you when the time is right.
ReplyDeleteTake care and enjoy your break!
ReplyDeleteI will certainly miss your wonderful posts and beautiful photography, but I definitely understand the need to step back and refuel. It's so important also to be offline. Starting this year, I'm going to post every other week. This hopefully will allow me to continue to love blogging while at the same time accomplish some other things. None of us want blogging to become a chore. Please put your health first and go out and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you in the Pacific NW.
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
Nora
A break sounds like a good idea. I didn't realise that you'd such a hard year - but I have been away from Blogdom for quite a while. I hope that rest brings renewed inspiration. I'll keep watching for you!
ReplyDeleteHi Joann! Hope you're enjoying your time off. Thank you so much for the visit! I know, some of the patterns seem a little off when I use the hook they suggest. We just have to experiment.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia :)
Hello, I hope you are well and enjoying your time off and blog break. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteHello, JoAnn! Take care of yourself and enjoy the beauty around you! :)
ReplyDeleteSee you soon! xx
