We've decided to have a New Year's party - we are all dressed up and ready to celebrate.
We have on our pretty clothes - ohhh Donnie - you still have on your new jammies. You can't wear jammies to a fancy party.
Donnie's jammies were a gift from our friend Diane, in Florida - he likes them so much he hasn't taken them off since he got them on Christmas. But you must change for the party.
Ok - that's better - all dressed up in your new christmas shirt.
Abbey has a white and red dress, red tights and black shoes.
Poppy is a princess with a crown and a pretty star scepter - and silver shoes
Sally Jo's purse and shoes match her dress
Happy New Year!!!!
Donnie - what have you got? Are you supposed to bring a pony to a party?
Whoa pony!!
She's very gentle - come and pet her.
Everyone will get a chance to have a ride - after the party is over. Almost time for the new year to begin.
And now we're ready for the new year - dressed up and nice and cozy in our jammies, waiting for midnight. We don't usually get to stay up this late.
Flannel jammies are nice and cozy
A flannel nightie and a tiara - Sally Jo is a princess now
A hand knit robe is perfect for this party
Donnie - again with the pony indoors. We see that you are riding the pony in your new jammies
Giddy up - let's gallop into the new year
On my pony from our Auntie Jamie
Happy New Year!!
Oh, Donnie looks very handsome in his new PJs! I'm so glad they fit! My girls have on their pjs today too so I guess that's what they'll wear to the party! haha! Love the pretty dresses and tiara and that hand knit gown is gorgeous. What a fun year we've had! Happy New year to you ALL! Hugs, Diane and dollies
ReplyDeleteHello, I love all your cute dolls and their outfits. Very cute!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy day! I wish you and yours all the best in 2016, a very Happy, Healthy New Year!
Love this! The girls all look like princesses in their exquisite dresses and accessories. Donnie makes me smile because my grandsons would wear jammies all day long if they were allowed. I have taken pictures of them making Halloween crafts only to find that they were wearing Christmas jammies!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun seeing your sewing skill (and Diane's!) on display in these posts of the "kids!"
Joann- this is about as cute as it gets! Your wee friends are so well dressed- and your sense of fun and whimsey (not to mention amazing sewing talent) is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI am still grinning from ear to ear! Have really enjoyed your posts! it is sweet to see how nicely you got Diane up to the challenge to sew, too.
Happy New Year to you and your four sweet little friends - and the Pony. Hey, what's the pony's name?
Hugs!
Cool dude, and love his pony. I had a huge plastic horse collection. Mine were much smaller, but I could use Barbie as my rider. I was in junior high school when Barbie came out. I didn't play much with dolls by then, but Barbie changed that. - Margy
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! xx
ReplyDeleteSuch cute clothes for your dolls. That Donnie is a mischievous charmer!
ReplyDeleteYou've certainly been busy! Your dollies are better dressed than I am, that's for certain. They all looks very cute. Good work!
ReplyDeleteThe dolls look ready to celebrate the New Year in their party outfits. You just can't go wrong with silver and, or red to wear for New Years Eve. Everyone looks wonderful! The little nighties with the matching slippers the girls are wearing are adorable, and the crocheted nightie is simply lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love Donnie's new Pony! Donnie looks like a handsome young swashbuckler off on his steed to slay a dragon. That would be after Donnie changes out of his pajamas of course.
Happy New Year to you and your family..... Hugs, Candy
What a great party. Love all the Jammies and nighties and housecoats. Of the Pony is the BEST!!
