The Barn Collective

More barns along River Road - near Lynden, WA
A two car garage added onto a barn
Interesting steps up the side of the barn
I love a view of a barn with Mt. Baker in the background

JoAnn, you sure found some big ones for this week, The last picture is interesting of the "little barn" contacted to the "big" barn. What with the busy Christmas season I hope that you can return with more barns again.

Very nice!
Hard to pick a favorite, maybe the one with Mt. Baker in the background

Always love your barns...love that second one...and the last is a real beauty, too. Wonderful scenes....

I had no problem choosing my favorite...the large red dairy barn! That reminds me of my home state, Vermont.
Have a great week, JoAnn.

These are beauties. I think the white one with the steps up the side has to be my favorite. With its wearing paint and interesting windows up at the hay loft it wins in my book. Second would be the creative one with the two car garage attached. Now, that is a new one for me.

Good ones! I'm intrigued by the last barn. The overhangs over the windows aren't something I've noticed often. It's especially interesting in the side view of the smaller attached wing building.
(How's your weather? It was dry and calm enough to take a walk this morning but now the wind has begun to pick up. It's from the east which isn't our prevailing direction.)

Lots of barns there. Very nice.
BTW: The tree full of Eagles is the tree on the BayView Edison road by the Samish River. There is a nest in it now. Built last year.

I never tire of looking at these glimpses of the romantic past. They remind me of times when families truly grew up and worked together to survive - and saw the fruits of their labor right outside the window!

Stunning views of these gorgeous old barns. The barns have personality and presence.
