It is almost Thanksgiving and Sally Jo is on the hunt for a turkey.
A new Autumn outfit is perfect for the turkey hunt
Wait - here's one - right on the table
I got it!
A nice head scarf for the turkey, don't you think? Just the thing for going to Thanksgiving dinner.
Whoa turkey - not so fast
Let's see what's inside this turkey - hmmmm no cookies
Maybe I could take a ride
Let's join the Thanksgiving Day Parade
Hi Ho Turkey - look - I can hold up the clock while riding my turkey
It is easier to hunt for ice cream dishes - they aren't so rambunctious - and I hear that there is going to be cupcakes and ice cream here tonight for a birthday party. Want to come to a party turkey? Next stop - Thanksgiving dinner - there's even a place set for you at the table, turkey (we're going to have ham).
I made the turkey soup tureen in a ceramics class long, long ago in California
Ha ha, cute photo set!
ReplyDeleteHi JoAnn!

That turkey is far too beautiful to eat anyway!
ReplyDeleteCute post! Did you make the doll outfit?
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a nice week.

ReplyDeleteJoAnn, you made me laugh. I love the dolly outfit. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post! I love the detail in Sally Jo's blouse and her leggings (Sally Jo looks really good in them)are perfect for the cold weather coming soon. I just love leggings on the dolls! The turkey sequence of pictures with the wonderful little Thanksgiving story is delightful.
ReplyDeleteI am still working on my post, it won't be ready until this evening.
Hugs,
Candy
Lots of fun! Beautiful turkey that you made too!! xx
ReplyDeleteHi JoAnn! Oh, how cute is this post! Love the little outfit and the little leggings! Now she is really handy on her tiny feet to catch a turkey like that! ;) I was hoping to join you and Diane, but I've been so busy I haven't gotten back to sewing! I enjoy seeing yours! Hope you're doing well.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Want to hop on the next plane ....
ReplyDeleteWe used to have a similar clock. I loved the bird calls on the hour. Somehow it didn't survive the last move.
Ride 'em cowgirl!
ReplyDeleteCute outfit and very nice turkey!
We were blasted by wind yesterday - a real gale - but didn't get as much rain as you did. An inch and a half but it felt like more than that as the wind whipped it around. You're right: today was a welcome break!
I think you had entirely too much fun with this photo shoot. Glad your friend is so accommodating with the poses! Her turkey hunting outfit is adorable.
ReplyDeleteWe are going to gone on Thanksgiving so our good friend Jeanne made Thanksgiving dinner for us tonight. It was turkey and all the trimmings. Yum! Nice to have such good friends. - Margy
ReplyDeleteI don't usually do dolls, but this seems like a great place to tell you how much I enjoyed "walking to Alaska" on my Kindle. I've been meaning to evervsince I first came to your blog and finally remembered to do it. Loved it all ( and I can see why you still love dolls ... I wanted to cry when you had to leave yours behind). Much more I could say, but I'm sure you've heard it all before .
ReplyDeleteOh Sally Jo! Thank you for the cute show! Love your fall outfit too! And those little red shoes!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from Diane's blog! What a cute post and I just love that fall outfit you made!
