Beautiful images, and love the collages you created with the amazing scenes you captured! We have no snow on the mountains here at all, which is unusual! I loved being able to see Mt. Baker through the "eyes" of your camera... lovely!
Hello, Beautiful views of Mt Baker. And I like the neat looking shelf fungus. The birdhouse is cute! Great mosaics and images. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
Mount Baker looks to me as though it has quite a bit of snow on it:) the fireweed seedheads are lovely, we call it rosebay willowherb in the UK. Really nice mosaic.
Love the birdhouse. I sure hope we get a good snow pack this winter. We even lost glacier ice up in BC. That can't be replaced with our current climate. - Margy
We live in such a gorgeous part of the world. The photos of the fireweed gone to seed are lovely. I'm hoping the snowpack increases this year, but with the strong El Nino predicted, who knows what will happen?
The pictures are lovely and I am amazed at how you can play with them for special effects. I am still trying to figure out how to download one picture to my blog. Maybe today?
Mt. Baker may look bare to you but it's got quite a lot compared to the Olympics. The one glacial slab we can usually see is almost completely gone and there's no snow visible on other peaks.
Doesn't fireweed have an interesting after life - a work of art. If you called the shelf fungus bear bread in Alaska - does this mean they ate them? I am envious of the gorgeous view of Mt. Baker you have JoAnn and hope you'll share it again when it is covered with lots of snow.

I love the way you have put these stunning photos together. Impressive fungus. I wonder if that is what we call bracken fungus?
Oh I love the fireweed and trees...so interesting in fall.

You're great at close-ups and landscapes. And then there's the birdhouse AND mountain! Both in one! Lovely!
Oh I loved these and the Fireweed gone to seed is so artistic...nature at it's best!
These are beautiful photos and mosaics! I love the fireweed gone to seed and the sweet rustic birdhouse with the mountain backdrop. Have a great week.
