The Mullein has started to bloom again - after the long dry summer it thinks that the rain means springtime - but it got fooled - it is Autumn
The hay has been cut and baled and is ready to be hauled to the barnyard
Apples have been harvested and made into pies, cakes, applesauce and jelly
It is time to settle into a slower pace - time to enjoy the cozy evenings with a cup of tea and a good book
The moon peeks in and out of the clouds and from behind the soon to be leafless trees
The spiders have spun their magnificent webs
The rains have begun - it is Autumn once again
And a Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian neighbors!

Good morning, pretty Autumn images! I love the rolls of hay and apples are my favorite. Beautiful shots of the moon and fall leaves! Wonderful mosaics! Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
Very cool shots!
Thanks for linking up at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/10/a-little-bit-squirrelly.html
I used to have a cuckoo clock like that!
Interesting JoAnn, never seen our mullein bloom a second time in fall.
The cat and bird clock brought back memories - I always wanted to get the bird one but never did.
Happy autumn!
I love the scenes of Autumn! The trucks filled with pumpkins are very neat too. It even feels cooler here in FL...only in the 80s now! Happy Fall my friend. Thanks for sticking close to me this past month. I missed you! Sweet hugs, Diane
Fabulous mosaics!!!! xx
All of these mosaics are great, JoAnn. Yes, autumn is definitely here, no matter what the mullein thinks. Pretty spiderwebs with the raindrops. We've had lots of rain here, too, much needed.
Last years quilt show had quite a few pieces with spider webs on them. (not because they were old but so many quilters were inspired by the design). I like them best decorated with beads of rain.
I LOVE all your wonderful fall views, the hay bales, moon and spider webs...so typically October! And I loved the Fall leaves and that beautiful (if confused)mullein...always been one of my favorite wildflowers! How nice to get to enjoy the blooms a second time.
Great autumn mosaics! That poor little apple tree is something else.
You've had much more rain than we have ("Sunny Sequim" is, after all, in the Olympic rainshadow!). We had showers for a while today but nothing close to your half inch (my rain gauge stopped working - we haven't been out to look at it yet) and it stopped raining after perhaps an hour.
JoAnn, Thanks for the Thanksgiving greetings. The pumpkins are really nice and the old trucks even nicer. Those apples look ready to eat! Thanks for sharing. Sylvia D.
Love all the autumn collages
I love the symmetry of the hay bales.
But, being a "Halloween person," your spooky night light scene and the webs really appeal to me now!
Lovely post. Some reminders of what has been and the coming of fall. The Mullein is so pretty -- love yellow! I love the smell of mown hay. The clocks remind me of day light savings time (UGH). Gorgeous moon. Have a great week.
I like your beautiful photos and mosaics. They really tell that fall is here. We had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend, thank you. ;) Enjoy the week. Pam
Love the moon and the orb weaver spider. Their webs are incredible!
These are all beautiful collages but I am particularly taken with the bales that works so well with the hay background. So I am not the only person with flowers in bloom at the wrong time of year.
This is lovely and reminds me that we still have not been to the local orchard, or pumpkin patch...life is spinning too fast ;)
This is a wonderful post...can't pick a favorite collage!
Your mosaics are wonderful to see! I think you might take as many photos as I do!
I've noticed more spider webs this year than ever before. Wonder if they have bumper crop years too. - Margy
