Summer Scavenger Hunt Part Two

Here is the last of the summer scavenger hunt  - this has been fun.

1. A bouquet of flowers
When our grandson Donnie was visiting in July he went to the store with his daddy - and when they came back he came running up the deck with a bouquet - and said, "Grammy, I love you so much, I bought you flowers and I bought milk for myself."
3. A person walking a dog
Our Grandson Ben taking his dog, Daisy, for a walk.  They are resting on big boulders.

4. People playing a board game or card game  - substituting Alternative A: People eating outside
Nothing better than a treat from the ice cream truck
A picnic in the park with our family
9. A tent

By the roadside - the person living here even kept chickens.

10. A college or university -  substitute Alternative B: Someone holding an umbrella
It was hard to find an umbrella this summer - we had so little rain - this is looking down on a street in Seattle from our room high up in the Crowne Plaza Hotel
And here is a better summer umbrella - an umbrella made of dolphins - in a parade.

13. A merry-go-round or carousel
Our grandson Donnie riding in a bus on a "vehicle merry-go-round"

15. A flag pole with at least three flags on it
I looked and looked - couldn't find one flag pole with three flags - but here are three flag poles with one flag each - Canadian flag, U.S. flag and Washington State flag. This is the front of the Alaska Ferry Terminal in Bellingham. This is where Don and I go on many Friday evenings with our picnic to sit and watch the cars load and the ferry depart.
Our oldest daughter's wedding was held (2001) in the wonderful upper story of the glass bubble - it was spectacular.

19. A ticket booth - substituting Alternative C: A rocking chair
A photo I took for a quilt shop in Trinidad, CA - and made note cards of the photo
Buddy E., Mrs. BrownDirt and Grampa Bear enjoying the rocking chair on vacation on Orcas Island.

21. A photo of you holding a sign saying "2015 Summertime Scavenger Hunt". The ink didn't show up very well - but it is there.

I found something for each category - although had to use some of the substitute selections - it was fun thinking of ways to interpret the list.  Stop of at Gallo Organico and see many other Summertime Scavenger Hunts.

JoAnn, you were able to find all great pictures. Love the grandsons pics and Daisy's legs look just like Kai's. We thought he had a birth defect but the vet told us just today that it is quite common in alot of dogs. I think they look cute..Happy Weekend..Judy

Hello there, "sign peeker!" Nice to see you!
So many nice shots! I'm taken by that tent. You don't see many tipi style tents like this and that little "hat" is very curious.
Your grandsons, of course, are always very cute (and I love your bouquet!).

Really nice way to end the season. I liked the umbrella that was made like a bunch of dolphins. I laughed at the guy on the far right who was wearing a dolphin on his sunglasses. That tent was very unique and original, too. That was a very lucky find.

I misread the flags and originally took something similar to your photo of three poles with one flag each. It still looked quite good, though, because of the gorgeous background.

Well, the grandsons, of course! Those are the cutest! But lots of other interesting views, too! The dolphin umbrella, for example! :)

You can find an umbrella almost every day in Tokyo ... either in the rain or as protection from the sun. I like your top-down view. Three flags??I wonder if carp-streamers would count as flags... or maybe pennants, though those are not usually on a pole, but strung between poles.

Wow! I have really enjoyed looking at some of your posts on the the way back to find part one! I love your overloaded vehicle but your door knocker is so much fun! Laughed about the tent guy keeping chickens! I think I will be back here soon! Chrisx
