JoAnn - there's something always special about a barn whether decrepit or new! Red barns are usually best - these are lovely barn pix from Wisconsin. Glad you got away with your camera at the ready.
I love old weathered barns and you take the best photos. I sewed some today....sewed and ripped out and sewed again! lol Hope you haven't had any bad weather. Sweet hugs, Diane
I was out barn hunting today and found several that looked like yours. Times does take it's toil. Thanks JoAnn for linking up this week and I hope you come back again. Tom The Backroads Traveller
I wish that there was the same keenness for barn conversions where you live as there is here and then many of these great old buildings would be saved. They are so lovely aren't they! xx
It's sad that these lovely old barns are so neglected. I imagine that they shelter a good deal of wild life of various kinds though so they are still useful.
How fab that there is a place called Bow! Love your granny squares, bright orange flowers and washing. That's the second crowd of seagulls i've seen too.x

ReplyDeleteBarns are enchanted places. I love the way your close ups make such interesting compositions.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love all that stone in the last shot. Looks like they could use some TLC...
ReplyDeleteThose stone foundations are really something! It looks like they can outlive anything built on top!
