With all the farms and barns around here, you'd think we would have more fences. But many of the barns, it could be even most of the barns, are no longer used on working farms and fences have disappeared for the most part.
I did find two red barns with fences
sweet scenes! gotta love a red barn. (and a good fence!) :)
ReplyDeleteA nice fence is a thing of beauty and a joy forever.
ReplyDeleteI don’t think I have ever seen wild mustard before but I have seen traditional red barns in big open fields that are now becoming almost obsolete in my parts of North America.
ReplyDeleteO, yes, I see the little donkey standing by your neat fence.
ReplyDeleteI met a little donkey once. Asked if I could pet him. Owner said sure, but be warned, donkeys in general can be a touch irritable. I pet him, but enough was enough in short order.
ReplyDelete:) m & jb who is rarely, if ever, irritable
Great farm scenes, love the red barns and pretty white fences. It is sad so many working farms are going under. Wishing you a happy day!
ReplyDeleteI love these pictures of red barns. They are beautiful. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I see the little donkeys! Such a pretty scene. There's nothing about the modern pole barn that will ever replace these old fashioned ones in beauty and grace. And a white fence is the perfect finishing touch!
ReplyDeleteGreat Red Barns and fences . . .
