Sunlit Sunday

The sun was infrequent today - but the flowers shown beautifully.  The Hyacinths are in bloom now - I arranged them in the three tier planter and can see them from inside the house - so springy and fresh.
 From the tight buds
To beautiful and wonderfully scented flowers

I bought bags of mixed colors and am very happy with the assortment

  1. The grape hyacinth are beginning to show a bit of color in the places hit by sun part of the day. Ours are still resting up for a bit later in the spring.

The colour selection is beautiful and I'm sitting here imagining that heady hyacinth fragrance.

  7. It's at times like this that I realize how short our summer here really is! Wonderful colour, but we won't expect those til early May!

  11. As I get older I like hyacinths more and more. Each year I buy some to have indoors and then plant them outside, I now have over 80 in the garden. You have such lovely colours and photographed them well x

  12. I love hyacinths and these are beautiful! You have some very nice colors here. They're on my list of "must plant" bulbs but I haven't decided on a spot for them. Crocus, too.

  13. You're making me wish I had planted hyacinths last fall. I have a few (or will, later this spring) but not in such a variety of beautiful colours!
