Reflections

Two kinds of reflections
Trumpeter Swans in a seasonal pond in a field - peaceful and serene

Time spent in the hospital - 5 days recently - not peaceful - not serene.  Nurses and aides rushing around - actually at times pushing patients.  Most are thoughtful and helpful - some could use a lesson in politeness.
Enjoying the sunshine on a wintry day

Even when confined we can find something to enjoy - a nice comment, a smile, a pretty flower or a visit from friends and family.
Back and forth

Our health is good and then not so good - but we plow on through and come out the other side - happy to be there
Life goes on - swans float by - rough times pass - we enjoy what we have.

Gorgeous reflections of the Swans.

An impolite nurse defeats her own purpose fore if we aren't there to help heal, why are we there at all. I am sorry you had to put up with such inexcusable behaviour ... but, clearly you have risen above it and like the swan, you forge on. Your pictures a beautiful and your thoughts cause reflection as well.

Unforgiveable that people in a caring profession should be impolite. Your photos have such a soothing effect.

I was worried about you when I saw the "no comments" stand on your last post for days...I knew something was wrong if you hadn't approved them. I'm glad you're back and hope you're doing better now! I'm sorry the hospital treatment wasn't better. I know people can be stressed but there's no excuse for taking it out on people who are ill.

I'm glad you're back home! Your photos are so peaceful and refreshing.
My daughter is an RN. The worst part of her job (when she worked in a hospital) was soothing over damage done by rude, incompetent nurses. To be fair, some of the patients were awful - but that's no excuse! They are the "customers" and if they were feeling well they wouldn't even be there!

I'm glad you're feeling better. There's no excuse for lack of politeness in my book. Beautiful swan reflections and equally lovely reflections on how to find beauty anywhere. I hope the healing continues, JoAnn. I'm still battling a little, but things are on the upswing with this flu.
