  2. Gosh JoAnn, I saw the first photo and said, "I love that photo!" to myself, and then I got to the second one and said the same thing, and then the third...and so on and so on! Wow, what an absolutely fabulous collection of photos. Tell you what, I love those bears int he back of that truck. What an unusual sight that must have been. I would have been telling Chloe to start making plans to hijack that truck. Aren't they cute? And those waterlily bowls, beautiful, and the common mergansers. There's absolutely nothing common about them, is there? And the pintail, and the red tailed hawk, and those falls!!! Holy smokes, just lovely. And it's nice for me that you have the same view of Baker that I do, just a little different angle. Nice that you're under the same stars looking at the same mountain that I am. x

  4. Looks like you had fun on your hunt. Those are great falls. Did you see the guy on the news that climbed the ice on Niagara Falls? I'm amazed that they would let him do it. - Margy

  5. Fun photos! I had 2 green water lily plates that I used all the time...take my advice and never put them in the micro! Both of mine cracked from the nuker.
I love all the bird photos, but that one of the trumpeter swan is awesome!
Enjoy the rest of the week, JoAnn.

  6. Great shots! I love all the "stuff" you found...and those water lily plates are simply precious! Bravo, Don! He's a husband with a real eye! It's great fun to look at these shots but the texture ones are wonderful. Heck, they're all wonderful. Why try to choose?!

  17. Amazing pics JoAnn - loved seeing the texture of the heron's feathers, the hawk and the flying swan - you always capture such wonderful birds in your lens.
Mt. Baker so beautiful as always - I think I took a photo from that same spot once!

BTW, in case you don't return to your comment at Weaver's comfort food post, regarding 'biscuits', as I told her, there really isn't anything in the UK resembling an American breakfast biscuit, at least not that I know of. Maybe in the freezer case, but not in a restaurant.

    Hugs - Mary
