A Merry Christmas Barn

A very typical shape for barns in this area.  Every christmas they hang a huge wreath on the front of the barn. I'd like to see how they get it up there.

I have been sitting here trying to figure out how they do hang that wreath up so high.... I don't know how they do it but it sure looks good hanging on that red barn.

Looks like a long way up, doesn't it? Maybe they have a cherry-picker in the barn.

I love these red barns - we visited one once in the US - I believe they get less and less these days.

We've got a few barns like that, but now I've started gathering barn pix, I realize they're few and far between. Nice pic!

I just love the look of barns like this, and how they are decorated for Christmas. Wooden "barn quilts" are another favorite of mine. Knowing your skill at stitching, I'll bet you love those too!
They have to have some kind of farming equipment to get that wreath up there! You made me wonder about it too!

I love it when the farmers decorate their barns for Christmas, or with the barn quilts!

Very pretty! And how do they hang the wreath?! I wonder if Julie has it right: a cherry picker?
