Black and White Wednesday - Nasturtiums

I love nasturtiums - the colors - the scent - the taste - just an all around great flower.  Now here they are in Black and White.

  5. Your lovely pictures look so "old fashioned" to me. They bring me back to grandma's back yard, where these blossoms crawled up on everything and looked so pretty. Grandma could grow anything!

  10. Wow, JoAnn, your photography just gets better and better! I love nasturtiums. They are always a flower that when I think of them, their smell comes right back to me. We always had them in the garden when I was growing up. I guess because they are so easy to grow. With that being said, I am ashamed, that I have never planted one seed at the Cottage. Next year, for sure..Happy Weekend..Judy

  11. Wow they sure look different in B&W. We had a zillion Nasties--all volunteers and they actually took over the whole flower garden. I had to pull some out. Amazon Nasturtiums. MB

  12. They look good in black & white! I planted 8-10 seeds this year (6 in a wheelbarrow) and have been amazed at how nicely they've taken over everywhere I planted them. Great flowers! Have you ever harvested the seeds at the end of the growing season? I think I'll try it with this year's crop but I'm not sure how long to wait...
