I think that the Oriental poppies were particularly pretty and lush this year!

ReplyDeleteOne thing I miss about California is the fields of poppies and lupine. We do have giant lupine in BC, and some people have planted poppies in their gardens, but it isn't the same as whole fields full. On the other hand, I am so glad to be away from the heat and crowds. - Margy
