I love to see the willows leafing out. The Japanese tend to cut them all off in the winter. My neighbor said they reminded her of ghosts. Hmm. Now the tree is a ghost because the builders put a house on that spot.
When we bought our current home there was a young willow tree and I was so happy but it succumbed and we never replanted one. Love the reflections! The mallard sometimes gets overlooked but I like seeing them. I need a trip to the park. :)
Green....... It's been so long since I have seen a beautiful willow decorated in it's spring greenery. It is so good to see your pictures. The reflections of the willows in the pond are gorgeous. Love the duck too!

JoAnn,
I like the spring green you posted today. We are still brown and have a little snow. I saw 43* this afternoon!
Reflections are fun to see and capture with your camera.
I like the duck! We have seen and heard geese and ducks in the last week. It's nice to see ducks back on the stock dams.

Well this shows at least some benefit of a high water table. Very pretty!

Just lovely.
ah, the loveliness of green opens my heart to the hope that spring temperatures will soon be here!
JoAnn, your photos are beautiful as usual. Love weeping willows when they are just starting to leaf out..Happy Spring..Judy
Beautiful seasonal shots. Those spring greens are so delicate and fresh.

Your photography is a gift from God! xoxo
When we fly over the area we see so many seasonal ponds (lakes even). Must make farming difficult in early spring. - Margy
Another harbinger of spring...high water tables♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/drive-home/
