This is really several favorite things - I love yard sales and thrift shops - I love teapots - and I love vintage - what more can I say? While on vacation we had the chance to stop at several yard sales and thrift shops - if we saw one we would stop for a bit - that is one of the nice things about vacation.
This teapot is wonderful - it is for left handed tea pourers
If you hold it with your left hand you see the design - in the other hand you just see a plain white teapot. I don't often find teapots that are for us lefties - so this was a nice surprise at a yard sale
Then I found a teapot tha t looks like a little cottage - this is the back
And here is the front - it is a little florist shop. The roof is the lid
Oh look - a baby bunny in an apron pocket
And a pretty flower wreath
A watering can
A pretty hollyhock hat
It is a Garden Bunny tea pot - isn't this the cutest thing ever? Perfect for tea in the garden in the summer.
Do you have some favorite teapots?

These are all so sweet! I like the little left handed one, but I'm not left handed. And the little florist shop is really appealing to me. And the bunny would be so cute to use with grandchildren. I love them all! Have you ever done a post about all your teapots together?
Sweet teapots - I have a collection too. Our company from Denmark wanted to know just how many teapots I had! Can one have too many? I don't think so!
I just stopped at three yard sales this morning and there was nothing remotely cute at any of them yet look at yours! so darling!
What adorable teapots! I've never seen a left handed one either -- my daughter, the leftie :), would love yours! Love the baby bunny in mommy's pocket -- too cute!
Some great finds here! Reminds me of my wife a little... she always comes home with great bargains from thrift stores.
Such darling teapots, JoAnn! I had no idea they even made left handed tea-pots! My sister is a leftie. You have really found the cutest things - the rabbit teapot is so sweetly detailed. They look lovely on that pretty tablecloth, too! xo
I have a teapot that belonged to my Great Aunt but I hardly take it out because I live with the king of chips and I'd hate to see it broken. There is also a second tea pot that is for making Japanese tea. With those, either hand is just fine.(and I am a lefty).
My dad had a nice collection of teapots. You found some cutie ones
Beautiful tea pots! Love them all. The garden bunny is especially adorable, and the first one is elegant. :). I'm jealous. In a fun way of course.
On my last visit with my granddaughter I showed her how to act out & sing this song. What fun!
"I'm a Little Tea Pot"
I'm a little teapot,
Short and stout,
Here is my handle (one hand on hip),
Here is my spout (other arm out with elbow and wrist bent).
When I get all steamed up,
Hear me shout,
Tip me over and pour me out! (lean over toward spout)
Oooh I do so want to go to garage sales. Its not been possible last few weeks. I keep seeing what people find and it makes me want to get out there. Why? I don't need anything. I really dont have room for anything.........yet, I still want the pleasure of that hunt for bargains. Great treasures you found

Well it looks like it was worth your stopping here and there! The bunny pot, especially, is a real find! My tea pots are very, very different from yours! I have a small collection of iron Asian (mostly Japanese) pots. My husband is making some new shelves to display them. I hope to shoot a few to "star" on my blog one day soon.
