S-o-o-o-o pretty! I love the poppies of Washington! We have a lot of Asiatic poppies blooming now and also vast swaths of California poppies. I have a photo of a pink poppy I plan to post one of these days soon.
JoAnn, your poppies are so pretty. I love poppies, but the only kind I have are the California poppies that keep replenishing each year. I am embarrassed to say that I ordered some seed from another blogger last year, (her's were so beautiful in pink) and was so excited to plant them this spring, BUT I can't remember where I put them!! That happens a lot lately!!Happy Wednesday..Judy
I love poppies - they are so vibrant and stand out against the landscape like little beacons. I don't have any this year, that reminds me to make sure I plant some seed this fall. Lovely photos! xo
Saw your comment on Vee's blog and wanted to drop by. I love Vee's blog and she never missed visiting me. I am a reader and will definitely look up your book. Have traveled a lot in the south east US and Caribbean but never farther west than Austin Tx. Our son lives there. Would love to visit Washington and/or Oregon. Blessings QMM
Absolutely magnificent. :). Color like this just boggles my mind. Beautiful.

Gorgeous poppies!
ReplyDeleteThey are named so well (papaver) -- do look like they are made of crepe paper. Lovely.
