Decorative - with Tulip Tree
Rustic - with Tulips
More decorative -this fence went on, in sections, for about 1/2 mile
A heron sculpture just inside the Rustic fence
There was a horse nearby, but not in the lovely fenced corral
A fence with a purpose
Just a gate, no fence to keep anything in or out - and a clever sign
One of our favorite pastures, as the sun was setting.
Love the white picket fences- nice shots!
ReplyDeleteAwesome fences! My favorite is the rustic fence with the tulip - so pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!!! Nice post.
ReplyDeleteOooh! I like that heron sculpture! These are nice fences.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely fences. I just love them. the anchor one was great too, even if it was not really a fence.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week,

Wonderful photography of such varied fences ~ great post ^_^
ReplyDeleteThe fences with the tulips are so quaint. I also really love your last shot of the sunset and very pretty bokeh!
ReplyDeleteoh, thank you for the lovely fence tour! I've never seen a heron sculpture! I want one!
ReplyDeleteGreat fences!
ReplyDeleteYou found some really great fences! My favorite is the rustic with the tulips.
ReplyDeleteLOVE all the fences! The first four especially are well framed shots!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to have that heron for my yard.
What I love always when I visit the US is those white picket fences. That is something we don't have over here. Most of our 'fences' are stone walls as it is a feature of this area.
ReplyDeleteI do love the white picket fences, really summer comforting! I love old brick walled gardens hiding their secrets. Chel x
ReplyDeleteThe gate with no fence - randomly interesting. Love shots of decorative fencces.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I love that first shot with the magnolia tree. I'm a bit worried about my tree blooming this spring. Thanks for sharing that one.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I would hate to be the one to paint that 1/2 mile of white fence! Great photos and loved the heron.
ReplyDeleteI love them all, Jo Ann. The first fence looks a bit like ours in St. Augustine!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila
Lovely photos Jo :0)

Love those red tulips with the rail fence. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI love fences JoAnn. There's a wooden plank fence at a communal garden close by where the people have taken the planks, plank by plank, and carved, drew, glued and generally designed a one of a kind fence. People get up to such wonderful mischief, don't they? :)
ReplyDeleteFences make wonderful frames for gardens beyond - the Magnolia tree and the tulips are beautiful JoAnn!

What a wonderful variety of fences this week. It is such fun looking at all the different styles. The gate without a fence is commonplace in our rural county. The blue heron sculpture is a classic. He would be happy here beside my tacky pick plastic flamingo. Lastly the tulips and the tulip tree....mana for the eyes. genie
ReplyDeleteYou always do such a great posts for our favorite memes, JoAnn. Always so many variations on the theme and I like that you take the time to describe each photo. Your last photo of the country field at sunset is a personal favorite.
ReplyDeletei love the anchor away fence. that is super cool! what a great grouping of fun fences. have a great weekend. ( :
