Barns with hand painted flags and old fences
Barns with flocks of Snow Geese nearby
New and useful barns
Barns that want to lie down and take a rest after a long life
Barns that smile at you
Barns with a few missing teeth
Barns that announce who and what they are
Barns in green pastures
Barns that are sagging
And barns built on rock foundations
Each barn is lovely and has done a great job for the farms - the old ones are disappearing and we can save them for future generations to see, with our photos.
Happy barn hunting.

I love barns too - just want to go inside and explore, and hopefully learn a little history while I'm at it, wish I could do that more!
I love them all but that one with the snow geese in front is such a lovely photo
As to the missing teeth barn..LOL !
Been spending most of my lunch break going through the older posts on the quilting blog. The scope of your work and how many you have made have me in awe.
Great barn captures1 Love them all. Nell - Canada
Wonderful!! That " leaning tower of Pisa" barn looks like it could go at any second.
Great series! You've caught some wonderful barns in all their various forms and conditions. And it's amazing how many snow geese you get in your area! I thought it was snow at first.
I love barns too, I just wish I had more time to find them and then I wish I had permission to explore them.
I am glad we don't have to vote on a favorite...I so enjoyed these.
Beautiful set of barn photos!

Great shots, I love your creative narration A LOT!
You really found some great barns. Love the way you have labeled them too. I can't even tell you which is my favorite.
What a delightful variety of barns! I'm smiling right now at your descriptions--so apt. Would love to see the snow geese in real time.
Those are great photos, JoAnn! Love the one that wants to lie down after a long life! Love the stories you tell and I love the one with the snow geese in the barnyard! xx
I love old barns too. There was one by the interstate that leaned so much we thought that it would fall at any moment. The farmer accidentally tapped it when planting corn and it fell. We really miss it. One of the neighbors is putting up a new barn in the old style, it's wonderful. Most just use metal sheds now.....so sad.
Crispy
Excellent barn post w/ an array of beautiful barns... I'd love to explore each one!
Thank you very much for joining =) LOVE the stone foundation =)
I wish I had such a stockpile of photographs! I can only share one a week I'm afraid.
Lovely shots. I'm not sure which one I like better, but am partial to the very top one, and the yellow, though the leaning one is 'charming' as well.
