Flashback Friday

Our kids are all grown and with their own families - so I thought it would be fun to go back and see them when they were little.

Our oldest, Beccy, dressed up for our plane flight out of Alaska to Texas, to see Don's father.

With her doll - daddy had made paper bag hats for everyone.  This is when we lived in Paris, TX

In West Bend, WI, cousin Buddy (who  now has a more grown-up name of Bud), came for a visit, and we all went to Lake Michigan for the day.

There is only 1 1/2 years difference in their ages - he was a tall boy, and she was very tiny for her age.

Beccy carving a pumpkin with daddy.  .  .

And helping mommy get the goop out of the pumpkin.  .  .

We weren't very good with balloon animals, but she had fun anyway.

Bec with baby brother Rusty.  She really wanted to tip him out of that chair to see what would happen, but she was a good sister and didn't.

Beccy and Rusty - wearing the corduroy coats I had sewn for them.  Rusty's is a Green Bay Packer's coat.  We lived in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  She is sneaking up on him to get a ball.

Riding in a wagon.  .  .

And with baby sister Lori, in Orangevale, California.  These three are now the parents, from left to right, of Ben, Jahn and Donnie.  My how time flies!

Lori on her first birthday with her giant snake and her baby doll.

Merry Christmas jammies from Grandma and Grandpa.

Oh, a puppy.  My youngest brother brought the puppy to give to Rusty for his birthday - without asking us.

Happy Easter, Lori, Rusty, Beccy

In Orangevale,California, the kids loved to help me pick flowers from our big flower gardens.

  2. So cute! They remind me of some of the photos I have of my kids when they were little.

  3. I had to laugh at how you ended up with the puppy...although I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time!
