There is nothing like some remembrances of summer flowers to bring sunlight and cheer into a chilly, rainy winter day. Smell the sweet flowers as we walk among yesterdays.
A single pink rose. . .
Just down the way - a sunshiney yellow rose. . .
And around the corner - a garden full of Irises. . .
Rose Hedge in our backyard in California. . .
Wild Roses and a Redwood Tree. . .
Bundles of blossoms. . .
Did you enjoy the sweet scent along the way? That is the best thing for a winter day.

Roses and irises; you've highlighted two of my favourites. I especially like the purple and white blossoms of the one iris variety. A few more months and I'll be enjoying some in my garden too.
Thank you for sharing these colourful blooms at Sunlit Sunday.

So Pretty...wow...got me thinking of spring even more! Thanks for sharing this beautiful and colorful pictures. Came hopping over from My Little Home and Garden Party.
Gorgeous! I love bearded iris and I can't grow them here. I miss them. The ones you shared are wonderful!
Lovely! :) it's cold and yucky here ( snow melted and its a muddy mess ) but my finches are working on their nest on the back porch so maybe we'll have an early spring...
Yes, I could imagine the sweet perfume of the roses and irises. Looking at your pretty flowers is a breath of sunshine on this snowy day.

Loved seeing the sun on your flowers! I remember eating fiddlehead ferns when I lived in Alaska. I was there for seven years.
