Another Scavenger Hunt this week - I'm really enjoying the challenge of this. I am still having to do my "hunting" in my archives because of my back surgery - but I hope in 3 weeks to be out and about and gathering "things" again. Our clues are -

Let the hunt begin!
Can you find the little bird among the river rocks?
There is something hidden on this sign . . .
Oh there it is . . .
A grosbeak hidden in the trees. There were dozens of these lovely birds flying about in someone's garden in Plain, WA. They were flitting about so fast this was the only photo I could get of them.
That is our grandson Jahn-Zyel, hidden on the massage table. Our grandson Ben took the photo. I was having a nice massage (our daughter is a massage therapist) and Ben brought all his stuffies out to give comfort to me during the massage. Then Jahn wanted to get on the massage table and Ben put all the stuffies on Jahn and made a movie of it. This is a clip from the movie.
Left
All the shoes - left by the door. We are a no-shoes-in-the-house family. This picture is very special to me as this was a day our whole family was at our house (which only happens every few years) and they had piled their shoes by the door as the shoe racks were full. It reminds me of the wonderful time we all had that day. Somebody has two pairs of shoes in that pile - how did they wear them both?
Someone left the gate open and the cranes got in. . .
Heron on a rock. . .
Onto the next rock. . .
Plain
A plain old field of mustard - what a joy!!!
Plain moon - so majestic in its plainness . . .
Plain old tin barn - the stories it could tell - animals and storms and tractors and little boys and girls. . .
A very plain sail - but it gets the job done. . .
Fast
Boat and water skier on the Columbia River. We were high on a bluff at the Ginko Petrified Forest in Eastern Washington.
Even the hillside looks fast. . .

A sleeping angel - our Grandson Donnie. . .
Beautiful, joyful photographs - I adore that ski gate - in fact I want one!
ReplyDeleteThat may be a plain old barn, but it makes anything but a plain photo. Very nice. have a blessed day.

ReplyDeleteFun! I LOVE that gate made of skis!

ReplyDeleteWhat fun photos! I loved the butterfly and the heron, and the one of the slope by the Columbia River. Very nice! :0)
ReplyDeleteWow so many great shots for the prompts. Some of my favorites, The Columbia River shot with the hillside, Herons taking flight, Mustard Field.
ReplyDeleteYou really had fun with this hunt.
So many neat finds for this week's words. Glad my family isn't the only one to leave a puddle of shoes at the mudroom door.
ReplyDeleteFun Fun!! We too are a no-shoes-in-the-house family. You had me looking closely for all the hidden ones...I missed the butterfly in the first one until you brought it to our attention.
