Nothing says rural better than horses. These wonderful horses are always happy to see someone and will come right up to the fence. They will stay there as long as you do - so getting good photos of them is easy.
There was a heavy fog that day - giving a soft background. . .

oh they are beautiful...great shots...and your book sounds interesting! good luck with it!
They are beautiful and look like my Clydesdale! I know they are one of the friendliest and most gentle breeds around despite their gigantic size! Love the foggy background.
they're so beautiful!
I was impressed with two...and then the third appeared! I had thought the first two must be a team, but I guess they are a trio! ;-)
Perfect postcards! Great shots. The third horse was a nice surprise

Love the foggy day...these handsome horses look all to be related!
Nice series of shots...do they have names? Here's my Rurality effort: http://lore-eleven.blogspot.com/2013/02/fun-with-sundials.html
Beautiful, and that fog really makes a great background.

Funny... I drove past an area where there are stables and small ranches (I don't know if they call them ranches but it is where they raise and board horses) this morning and the horses were out and looking very happy. These are very beautiful.
Thank you for joining in 'Rurality Blog Hop #4' Hope to see you next Wednesday for #5...
So beautiful! Love the backdrop of the fog.
