The moon was a lucky shot - I was focusing on the hawk and didn't even see the moon. I am joining Madge at her one year anniversary of the Weekly Top Shot. Great photos there - stop over and see them.

Wow, that is a beautiful shot. I don't think I have ever taken a photograph of the moon before...neither on purpose or accidently. Not sure why, now that I come to think of it. :) I so enjoyed reading your "children surprise" story on my blog. Hope you have a wonderful week, Joann. Maureen
Isn't it amazing what we see when we take a photo and them step back to look at everything in the frame? (it works both ways... sometimes I am just so embarrassed about what shows up in my pictures , like all the particles of dust....)
