More seagulls this week - I'm just fascinated by them, and they pose so nicely. . .
And fly over so often . . .
When I was a kid I remember the family story being told over and over about my grandmother being so upset when they would go to the piers in S. CA and the seagulls would fly over. She would quickly pull her hanky out of her purse and hold it on top of her head, and sure enough, she was the only one that got any "decorations" ( she just couldn't call it bird poop) from the seagulls, never failed.I've never had that experience - so I still enjoy them - I love the sound and the feathers and the hopping about acting like clowns - I like it all.

I worried about that last week when I was out on the coast. But, luckily I had no decoarations. LOVE your banner!
Happy Outdoor Wednesday Jo! Beautiful pictues of the seagulls! Thanks for sharing your photos.~ Susan
Beautiful Seagull pictures! They must be the only birds that are good about holding still enough to have a phto snapped!

Awwww...your poor grandmother. "Decorations"...love that. Love the deep blue color of the water in your photographs. Thank you for sharing.
Too funny! Reminds me of a time when we would visit Ocean Shores when the kids were young. The seagulls are very aggressive there for some reason. When you take out any food they come out of nowhere to sit beside you and beg. My kids were throwing potato chip into the air and they would fight over them. Needless to say there were so many of them - I was covering my head! I didn't get "Bombed" but my daughter did! :-)
Blessings,
Kymber
What a fun seagull story. I am always amazed when I see them flying around where there is no sea in sight.
